We are pleased to announce that Bastian was chosen to receive the Reasoning Mind Math Program’s First Outstanding Houston Implementation Award. This award honors a Reasoning Mind school that has consistently exhibited an ideal implementation and a strong partnership with RM. Bastian has met and exceeded these expectations. We have established a solid history of reliability and fidelity in implementing all aspects of RM programming, yielding RM students who are engaged, on-task and well managed. Classes consistently follow the RM schedule for lab times, providing students the time they need to properly benefit from the program. Students are instilled with independent work ethics and rewarded with creative incentives. These program elements, along with the strong partnership we have formed with RM, have led to an outstanding implementation model that merits recognition. These accomplishments would not have been possible without the consistent dedication of our RM teachers, Ms. Nobles and Ms. Wiggins, our students, and the support of their classroom teachers. Bastian was presented with the official award at RM’s annual event on Wednesday, November 16, 2011.
