Through a partnership with the University of Texas and the engineering and oil companies, which sponsors this opportunity, students participate in a summer enrichment program that includes the geosciences while traveling to locations within the state of Texas as well as other U.S. geographical locations. In addition to traveling, students selected will have the opportunity to attend college preparedness classes such as Algebra readiness and SAT, learn about scholarship offerings, explore STEM careers, and possibly apply for mentorship programs with sponsoring companies. This program covers four summers of field experiences and is totally free for students to participate.

Our 8th grade students will be traveling first to Austin and then on to Florida for a week-long trip, all expenses paid. What an exciting opportunity for our students!
