Angel Wilson is the proud
principal of Cornelius Elementary School. She previously served as an assistant
principal at Lanier Middle School and Dean of Instruction at Durkee Elementary
School. Wilson began her 12-year career in Fort Bend ISD as a 4th
grade teacher at Lantern Lane Elementary before later moving to Houston ISD
(2008) as a 5th grade teacher at Codwell Elementary.
While at Codwell Elementary,
Wilson was named 2010 HISD Elementary District Teacher of the Year. She also
served as an elementary math Teacher Development Specialist for Houston ISD.
Wilson received a bachelor’s
degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood
Education from Prairie View A&M University. Wilson also received her master’s
degree in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A&M University.
