Dear Parents, Teachers, Community Members and Students of Frank Black Middle School.
It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I have accepted a position as the Principal of Madison High School effective Monday, March 26th, 2018.
The last nearly four years as the principal at Frank Black have been some of the most challenging yet rewarding years of my entire career in education. We have seen our school grow in so many ways, in size, artistically, competitively and most importantly, academically. None of this would have been possible without the hard work and dedication of all involved. Our students are some of the brightest, most interesting, diverse and good-natured students that I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
To our community I would like to say thank you for always supporting the mission and vision of the school. None of the accomplishments and achievements of the school would have been possible without your support. To our faculty and staff, I have learned so much from working alongside you, watching you work, and seeing how you engage with the students. Truly the academic, artistic and athletic accomplishments are a testament to your capacity to grow and support student learning on all levels. To the students please keep learning, dreaming and focusing on achieving your goals. The world is full of possibilities, and you are the true leaders who will define your future, and the future of our planet.
I look forward to watching from afar as I begin the next phase of my career. During the transition period Mr. McClish will serve as the point person for campus leadership and will work closely with Ms. Connie Berger, school SSO.
Once again, thanks to all of you for your support and I look for great things to come from Frank Black Middle School! If you ever have any questions or if I can ever be of any assistance to you feel free to reach out to me.
