Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday, November 1

Don’t forget to “fall back” on Halloween night.

Don’t forget to move your clocks backward by one hour when you go to bed on the evening of Saturday, October 31, as Daylight Saving Time (DST) comes to an end about a week later this year due to a law passed in 2005 by the U.S. Congress.

Instead of beginning on the first Sunday of April and ending on the last Sunday of October, as it has for years, starting in 2007 it began on the second Sunday of March and will conclude on the first Sunday of November.

Daylight Saving Time officially ends this year at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2009.
