Degrees and Certifications:
Greetings and Welcome to our Clifton Community!
My name is Georgina Castilleja and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the Clifton Community, its families, faculty, and staff. I believe that together we can reach great heights and empower our students to be successful and competitive in this ever-changing society.
I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and I came to the US at a young age. A proud product of HISD, I have dedicated my life to serving the children of this district. My role in education started as office staff and teacher assistant. I then taught middle and high school and advanced to instructional leadership roles within the district office. After a tenure coaching and training teachers district-wide, I transitioned to the role of Dean of Instruction, where I felt I could have a more direct impact in the life of students. I am now excited to embark on this journey as a Principal, trusting that great individuals, together, can impact lives, communities, and futures.
At Clifton we are building a culture of Leaders, Thinkers and Problem Solvers. Our motto is “Clifton Cougars, engineering great thinkers...every student...every day.” We welcome you to experience our Clifton community where we believe it is our missionary duty to help shape our students academically, socially, and emotionally, into great human beings.
