Ortiz Shared Decision Making Committee (SDMC)

The Shared Decision-Making Committee is an advisory group to the principal. The committee is composed of classroom teachers, other professional staff, parents, community and business members. The purpose of the committee is to set goals and measureable objectives related to student achievement, develop the School Improvement Plan, and advise the principal on campus policies and procedures. Decisions are reached by consensus; however, the principal has the authority to make the final decision on all matters. 

Meetings are held monthly and minutes are available to all parents and interested community members.
SDMC will not meet in November. The next meeting will be posted soon
SDMC will not meet in December.  The next meeting is scheduled for January 24, 2018.
Meeting agendas and minutes will be posted after each meeting.
