  • Expansions have been completed at Crockett Elementary and Valley West Elementary.

  • Projects have been completed at 62 schools
  • Work is ongoing at 47 other schools
  • Projects at 25 schools are in the planning stage
 
PROMISE MADE: Update and improve midle and high school science labs
PROMISE KEPT:
  • New science lab equipment and materials have been delivered to all middle and high schools
  • Science lab renovations are ongoing at middle and high school campuses across the district

  • Equipment allowances
IMPLEMENTATION:
  • Middle Schools: October 2008 to November 2008
  • High Schools: December 2008 to January 2009

  • Eye wash
  • Dousing showers
  • Fume hoods
  • Demonstration tables
  • Exhaust systems
  • Laboratory sinks and plumbing
IMPLEMENTATION:
  • Science lab infrastructure upgrades for campuses with minimal renovations will be completed first
  • Science lab upgrades for campuses with major renovations will be completed along with that campuses' total renovation
