  • APOLLO 20 MATH FELLOWS APPLICATION

    Houston ISD’s Apollo 20 Math Fellows Program focuses on bridging the achievement gap at our turnaround campuses. This full-time job opportunity allows candidates to gain classroom experience in a 3:1 student teacher setting. Fellows are assigned to a dedicated campus and work a standard schedule from August through May. This position offers an annual salary, affordable healthcare options, and is eligible for bonus pay.     Houston ISD has highlighted 12 schools to participate in the Strategic Staffing Initiative (SSI) for the 2014-2015 school year. These designated schools aim to increase student achievement outcomes by recruiting top teacher talent and retaining effective teachers. Teachers selected for hire at one of our SSI schools may be eligible to receive a $4,000 recruitment incentive.
