Mission Statement

Mission Statement:
The mission at Jenard Gross Elementary School is to equip college bound 21st century learners and to foster a safe nurturing school environment that is conducive to all types of learners. Learners will become productive citizens in a technological society as emphasis will be placed on all subjects.  All students can learn and will be supported with family, community, and business partnerships in order to enhance student success and high self-expectations.
 
Positioning Statement:
Jenard Gross Elementary is the best neighborhood elementary school in the far Southwest area of Houston for minority and non-minority students because we focus on rigorous reading and math instruction and provide exposure to extra-curricular activities in a stimulating environment that fosters intellectual, social, emotional, and cultural development of diverse learners in a technological society.
