Magnet Application Status

For applications for the 
2018-2019 school year
If you submit an application during Phase 1 (September 22 - December 8, 2017), you will receive a letter informing you of the status of each application you submit on or soon after March 22, 2018 - our notification date. Each status type, possible action, and deadline will be detailed on this page.

 Important Dates

September 22, 2017

The online system opens for applications. Paper applications may also be submitted. Applications may be submitted for Phase 1 - to be considered, if qualified, in general lotteries and auditions.

December 8, 2017

The last date that applications may be submitted for Phase 1. After this date applications may still be submitted for Phase 2.

March 22, 2018

Date on which parents are notified of application outcomes. These will be posted online and letters will be sent to all parents.

June 1, 2018

Date on which out-of-district applications may be considered. This is the start of Phase 3.

August 10, 2018

The last date for any activity involving Magnet transfers or acceptance.
