Bond Proposal

The $805-million Bond Proposal 2007 was approved by voters in 2007, its projects include the construction of 24 new schools, the expansion of four other schools, and renovation of 134 schools This program also calls for the improvement of both the infrastructure and accessibility of Barnett, Butler, and Delmar stadiums. Read more.

Because high-quality science instruction is so critical to student success, the district has dedicated $29.2 million to the creation of new campus science labs under HISD Bond Proposal 2007.
