Bilingual/ESL Teacher Stipend Information for the Fall Submission

Includes: Instructions for Printing the Stipend Verification Forms, Instructions for Completing the Stipend Verification Forms and the Stipend Questionnaire. Starting fall 2008, all Bilingual/ESL Stipend Verification Forms will be accessed through PEOPLESOFT. Completed forms are due to each Region Office by October 23, 2009.

This is the criteria for Bilingual stipends.  Classroom teachers/ACP interns who meet the baseline criteria listed below may participate.  Although first year bilingual teachers are listed on the pre-printed stipend verification forms, they are not eligible to receive the stipend this year.  The Board of Education has approved annual stipends of $3,000 for bilingual teachers.

• Bilingual Elementary 
• Bilingual Secondary 
• Bilingual Special Education 
• Two-Way Dual Language

This is the criteria for ESL stipends.  Classroom teachers/ACP interns who meet the baseline criteria listed below may participate.  Although first year ESL teachers are listed on the pre-printed stipend verification forms, they are not eligible to receive the stipend this year.  The Board of Education has approved annual stipends of $1,000 for ESL teachers.
