HISD to Rebroadcast School Board Candidate Forum Until Election

Houstonians can tune in weekdays at 7:00 p.m. on cable through November 3

Houstonians are invited to tune into the HISD cable television channel—Comcast (Time-Warner) cable channel 18, Phonoscope channel 76, TVMax channel 96, and Suddenlink channel 18—at 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, from October 26 through November 3, 2009, to watch rebroadcasts of the KTRH-Channel 13 (ABC) “HISD School Board Candidate Forum.”

Sponsored by Parents for Public Schools, the forum featured all nine HISD Board of Education candidates and highlighted their opinions regarding topics such as merit pay for teachers, Magnet schools, school funding, parent communication, and reducing the dropout rate.
