What We Do

The HISD Real Estate Department administers and directs all real estate acquisitions, sales, and leases for HISD as well as all land planning issues for District properties. This includes:

• selection and supervision of consultants, administration, reporting of project costs, and scheduling
• real estate contract and lease development
• real estate contract and lease administration
• administration and preparation of condemnation hearings, and court trials
• review and execution of all plats, easements, and right-of-ways acquired or conveyed by HISD, and records management for all HISD real estate records.
