Overview

Strategic and organizational planning allows the Technology and Information Systems Department to respond to emerging trends, events, challenges and opportunities within the framework of its mission and vision. Schools must plan for the use of new and emerging technologies and infrastructure with the resources to support them. Carefully considering current trends is a good way to identify and plan for future trends.

The TIS Administration group is responsible for developing and implementing policies that will enhance the efficient allocation of resources that support the District’s vision and priorities. The Technology Administration group works to develop strategies to address issues, timelines, and resources to work with staff of the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Department in supporting the goal of increasing student achievement.
