Elementary School Magnet Programs

Listed below are program descriptions, locations, and phone numbers. As you explore the Magnet program offerings, keep in mind that academics are always the primary focus on all HISD campuses.

You may apply to as many general Magnet programs as you like, using the general Magnet application form. Vanguard Magnet programs are limited in that they only serve students who have been identified as potentially gifted or talented in intellectual ability, creativity, or leadership. To apply to a Vanguard Magnet program, use a Vanguard Magnet application and specify the three Vanguard Magnet schools you would like to attend. Submit one application to your first-choice school.
