What We Do

Houston Independent School District's West Region office is responsible for administrative oversight, service support and parental assistance for schools in the region. The West Region functions as a PreK-16 professional learning community where schools work collaboratively and vertically to achieve goals that focus on results and continuous improvement.

The West Region is committed to guiding and supporting a world-class system of schools that creates graduates prepared for higher learning that make positive moral, economic, and cultural contributions to society.
