Changes in instructional setting codes that become effective next year for new services are not put into Chancery at the end of the school year. If a student with disabilities has been ARDed for new instructional services next year and the instructional setting code will change beginning next year, campuses should not make the change for next year's service in Chancery, now. - The Effective date and new instructional code(s) for next year should be entered next school year on the date service begins.
Funding begins on the Effective Date the instructional code is entered and services must begin at the time the new code is entered. When the instructional setting code is changed, the funding will change.
