High School Ahead Academy is a middle school campus that offers over-age students the opportunity to get back on track by providing an accelerated curriculum in a small, nurturing environment. Although we are located between the historical Independence Heights and Acres Homes community, we welcome students from all over Houston ISD through the school choice transfer initiative.

Megan Lyndersay, formerly the Dean of Instruction, has been selected as Principal of High School Ahead Academy Middle School.
