Ms. Marina Rodriguez

Hello!  I graduated from the University in Houston in 2011 with a B.A. in Hispanic Studies and History Double Major, then in 2019 with a M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in STEM. Go Coogs! This will be my sixth year teaching and my first at CVHS. This year I will be teaching Pre-AP Physics and Pre-AP Chemistry.  I have also taught Algebra I, Algebra II, and Engineering.  I'm really looking forward to this school year!

I am the co-sponsor of the Climate Change Club.  I believe in the positive impact it has on our CVHS students.

I am always looking for opportunities outside of the classroom that enrich learning for our students.  If you come across any, let me know!

Other info:

•I am currently a fellow with the University of Houston for STEM Teaching and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy (http://www.uh.edu/education/cuin-stem/)

Go Rhinos and Go Coogs!
