This is the second year we will be using the Unique Curriculum for HISD. I will be focusing more on the Reading and English subjects. There are two other Life Skills Teachers whose focus is on other subjects but again my focus is on the reading and writing aspect. Students will improve comprehension skills, alphabetic principle, phonics, vocabulary, alphabetical order, writing skills, sentence structure, etc.
