My name is Aaron E. Hinkley. This is my seventh year teaching at HSLJ. I am teaching three sections of pre-AP World Geography, as well as three sections of Principles of Government and Public Administration. I was born in Connecticut, but I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have a B.A. summa cum laude in philosophy with a minor in European History from the University of Nevada Reno and an M.A. in philosophy from Rice University here in Houston, Texas, specializing in 19th and 20th Century European philosophy (especially Kierkegaard) and the philosophy of religion. Previously, I had been a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy at Rice University where I taught several 'Intro to philosophy' courses. I was, also, an adjunct instructor in philosophy at Houston Baptist University.
