Do Now:
List your three favorite foods to eat when you were ten years old. Share with your table group.
NOW…imagine that the foods on your list were
· Anything that was not rotten or moldy
· Anything that was not full of bugs
· Anything that was not from a trash heap
Did you know that even today, there are children who get their food from trash heaps?
Watch the video, and then we will look at some ways that we can help.

What can you do? Different parts of the country can use different items. For instance, for $150.00 you can buy a Llama for Latin American. They provide transportation and wool for a family. For $30.00, you can purchase a hive of honeybees for a family in Guatamala, so that they can sell the honey or trade it.
For $300.00 you can buy a water pump for a village! As an advocacy you can raise money simply by saving your spare change or doing fund-raisers. You can pair up with another advocacy (or several) and put your money together. By Christmas, you could change the life of a family or village in another country.
