Mr. Natividad

Welcome !

My name is Froilan Natividad and this is my 20^th year in Houston ISD. I am excited to be your child’s media specialist (librarian) here at Wharton K-8. I look forward to helping him/her become a critical thinker, enthusiastic reader, skillful researcher, and responsible user of information! Please encourage your child to enjoy and take care of our library materials and return them for more. Also, please enjoy library books with your children!
I am originally from the Philippines, where there are 7,641 islands depending on whether it is low or high tide. I love to play chess and collecting chess sets and chess books as a hobby. I love reading, gardening, 3D-printing, tinkering with devices and some woodworking.

Mi nombre es Froilan Natividad y este es mi vigésimo año en Houston ISD. Estoy muy contento de ser el especialista en medios (bibliotecario) de su hijo aquí en Wharton K-8. ¡Espero poder ayudarlo a convertirse en un pensador crítico, un lector entusiasta, un investigador hábil y un usuario responsable de la información! Anime a su hijo a disfrutar y cuidar nuestros libros.
Soy originario de Filipinas, donde hay 7,641 islas según este la marea alta o baja. Me encanta jugar al ajedrez y coleccionar juegos de ajedrez y libros de ajedrez como pasatiempo. Me encanta leer, sobre la jardinería, la impresión en 3D, jugar con dispositivos y algo de carpintería.

Discovery Streaming Education

Discovery Streaming Education is a digital video-based learning resource. Educators gain on-demand access to 50,000 content-specific segments from 5,000 full-length educational videos- including more than 1,000 new videos in subject areas including foreign language, secondary math, science, and language arts. Access provided through is page is only for non-classroom teachers and requires a unique login which can be obtained via campus library personnel. All classroom teachers and students must access Discovery Streaming through the Digital Resources page on the HUB. Access through the HUB is single sign-on.
