I would like to welcome your child to second grade.  I am so pleased to be your child’s teacher this year. My name is Martha E. Rangel.  I am a native Texan. I graduated with a degree in Bilingual Education.  I have taught for 22 ½ years; Pre-K (3 ½ yrs.), Kinder (13 yrs.), first grade (4 yrs.), and second grade (1yr.)  all in Dual Language (literacy coach, 1yr.). I have been at Wharton for 9 yrs.    

I have one son, a dog, a cat, and 2 fish.  I love plants, gardening, and going to movies (my favorites are horror movies). I also collect Christmas hats.

Me gustaría darle la bienvenida a su hijo/a a segundo año.  Estoy muy contenta de ser la maestra de su hijo/a. Me llamo Martha E. Rangel. Soy nativa de Texas. Me gradué con Licenciatura en educación bilingüe. He enseñado 22 ½ años; Pre-K (3 años y medio), Kinder (13 años), primero (4 años) y segundo (1 año), todos en doble vía (entrenadora de alfabetización, 1 año).  He estado en Wharton por 9 años.  

Tengo un hijo, un perro, un gato y 2 peces. Me encantan las plantas, jardinería e ir al cine a ver películas (mis favoritas son de horror). También colecciono sombreros navideños.
