• Mu Alpha Theta (ΜΑΘ) is the Math Honor Society for high school students. Its main goal is to inspire interest in mathematics, to develop strong scholarship, and promote the enjoyment of mathematics in high school students. The name is a rough transliteration of math into Greek (Mu Alpha Theta).

GPA: 3.900 unweighted OR 4.050 weighted (decimals will be truncated) two activities per year (9th, 10th and 11th grade) outstanding character and leadership qualities.

Our group revolves around strengthening students’ math skills by working together, challenging each other, and practicing in math competitions.  Our goals are to improve our scores within each round of the competition and get students interested in the subject.  We strive to help others who struggle in their math classes by conducting study sessions and tutorials.
