Hello and Welcome!  My name is Melanie Pando-Palmer and I am the music teacher here at Wharton Dual-Language Academy. It is my second year teaching here at Wharton Dual Language Academy and I could not be more delighted to be a part of this team. Here is a little bit about myself; I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and I received my Bachelors of Arts in Music Education from the University of Houston here in Houston, TX. I have a daughter named Lizzy and I love spending time with my family in the outdoors.  I am ecstatic to begin teaching your child how to play, move, create and sing in our music classroom. Here at Wharton DLA we offer orchestra to the 7th and 8th graders. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your student this school year.

¡Hola y Bienvenidos! Me llamo Melanie Pando-Palmer y soy la maestra de música en la Academia de Wharton de Doble Via. Este es mi segundo año enseñando en Wharton DLA y estoy encantada de ser parte de este equipo. Un poco sobre mí; Nací y crecí en San Antonio, TX y recibí mi licenciatura en Educación Musical de la Universidad de Houston.
