Mrs. Jill Williams

I am excited to return to HAIS as the Teacher Specialist and Title I Coordinator for the 2021-2022 school year. I will also be teaching Principles of Government and Public Policy, Dimensions of Diplomacy, and Model United Nations.  This will be my third year at the Houston Academy for International Studies, and I have worked in Houston ISD since 2005. During my educational career, I have served many campuses across our district including Chavez High School, Sharpstown International School, DeBakey High School for Health Professions, and Lovett Elementary. In addition, I was a Teacher Development Specialist for the Houston ISD Secondary Social Studies Department. I was also fortunate enough to teach in Oxfordshire when my husband's career took us to the United Kingdom!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time traveling, SCUBA diving, listening to live music, and watching college football...GIG'EM AGGIES...and West Ham United...GO HAMMERS! My husband and I are proud parents of our two children and two dogs.
