    On-Time Grad Academy is a program through a partnership between Houston Independent School District and the City of Houston which allows high school students in danger of falling behind their entering Freshman class to earn more credits at OGA than a traditional high school through our accelerated learning curriculum.

    On-Time Grad Academy offers students multiple avenues to acquire and/or restore high school credit(s) needed for graduation.

  • How do I enroll?

    Students do not enroll at OGA.  You must be enrolled in an HISD high school.  Your counselor, dean, or registrar at your home campus must refer you to OGA if you meet the criteria.

  • Who may I contact about the classes I need to graduate?

    Posted by:

    You must remain in contact with your counselor and registrar at your home campus while attending OGA. You should meet with your counselor once during each six-week period regarding your progress toward meeting graduation requirements.

  • How long do I have to stay at On-Time Grad Academy?

    Your progress at OGA, as well as your Graduation Plan developed by you and your counselor, determine the amount of time you spend working through this program.

  • How will I receive my grades?

    At the end of each cycle, OGA will post your grades on your transcript. You will also receive a report card at the end of each cycle. You may request copies of your transcript from your home campus.

  • How will the students get to the multi-service centers?

    All students are eligible to receive free Metro Bus Passes which are used to travel to and from school daily.  Students may also use their own transportation.  (If they are driving their personal vehicle, the students must have a current driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.

    This is an accelerated program; therefore, students must exercise good attendance to earn credit for the courses they are enrolled in.

  • What is the schedule of On-Time Grad?
