  • For the next few weeks, your students will have the opportunity to increase their learning through numerous enrichment programs, activities and camps offered through HISD and the City of Houston.

Teachers will also have the chance to participate in professional development opportunities that will provide resources, ideas and training on best practices. Organizations such as Region IV will offer trainings and webinars face-to-face and virtually for teachers to attend.

Ongoing training through the New York Times will provide some basics of teaching students reading and writing and how to keep students engaged.
