I am very excited about beginning the 2022-2023 school year here at Challenge Early College High School! This is my 13th year in education, and 3rd year at Challenge ECHS where I teach dual enrollment Business Information Management I / Computer Applications I & II.
My goal this year is to build new relationships with my students, parents, and the community. I have a goal of growing our CTE program here at CECHS. I plan to do this by collaborating with students to explore their career interests while developing career readiness skills. Together we'll learn through a variety of engaging and challenging Business Technology, & STEM activities!
My background and experience is in Computer Applications, STEM Education, Career & Technical Education, and Instructional Technology. Courses that I have previously taught include: AP Computer Science Principles, Senior Project, Capstone, Graphic Design I & II, Web Design & Media Rich Content, Introduction to Information Technology, Information & Communication Technology I & II and Personal Finance. I've also served as a Librarian / Media Specialist.
All Coursework, Resources, and Weekly Agendas will be located on our Learning Management System, Canvas. Please review and refer back to the provided agendas for explanations, directions, assignments, and deadlines.
