How do I find my daily schedule? grades? attendance?
It's ALL in one place. HISD Connect PowerSchool has student schedules, grades, and attendance. It replaces "GradeSpeed" from last year. Students log in with their HISD username and password (same one you use for everything else). There is a website and mobile app.

If Friday is an "odd schedule" day, what is Monday's schedule?
The CVHS daily schedule will alternate between ODD and EVEN period days. If Friday is an ODD day then Monday will be an EVEN day, and so forth. Check the CVHS calendar for long term planning of odd vs. even days.
If Monday is a holiday, then the next day (Tuesday) will be the next day in the alternating pattern.

How is the semester grade calculated?
The calculation for high school semester grades has changed for the 2020-2021 school year. Each six-week cycle grade will count as 30% of the semester grade, and the final exam will count as 10% of the semester grade. The new formula will apply to all high school courses taken in both middle and high school.
