About Title I

  • The purpose of Title I, part A is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments. A school is eligible to receive Title I, Part A funds when the percentage of low-income children residing within a school's attendance area is equal to or greater than the average district-wide percentage.


    The 2021–2022 Title I, Part A Parent and Family Engagement Survey will be open until  Friday May 27, 2022. The purpose of this survey is to obtain parents’, guardians’, and adult family members’ perceptions of how well schools involve them in the educational activities related to their children.

    La Encuesta de Participación de Padres y Familias del Título I, Parte A de 2021–2022 estará abierta hasta el viernes 27 de mayo de 2022. El propósito de esta encuesta es obtener las percepciones de los padres, tutores y miembros adultos de la familia sobre qué tan bien las escuelas se están involucrando en las actividades educativas relacionadas con sus hijos.
