Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has allowed schools to apply for asynchronous learning waiver days. The purpose of the asynchronous learning waiver days is to reduce the number of students on campus during the 20-21 STAAR and EOC assessment administration windows. To maintain safe social distancing and ensure a conducive environment for STAAR and EOC assessments, we will utilize asynchronous learning days for non-tested grade levels. During asynchronous learning days, specific groups of non-tested students will participate in asynchronous remote instruction.
Please see the schedule below to determine how your child will be impacted during the STAAR or EOC assessment days. The schedule below outlines the date and specific grade level that will participate in asynchronous remote instruction. Please contact the school if you have questions or need additional information.
We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and flexibility as we work to create a safe learning environment for students.
