Welcome Wharton Families to a new and exciting school year! My name is Ms. Gonzalez, and I am so excited to be your child’s first grade teacher! Together we will embark on this journey of learning and fun! I am a native Houstonian and graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Architecture. I am also a graduate from the College of Education at the University of Houston with the Alternative Certification Program. I have been teaching for 19 years, mostly in 3rd and 4th grade. This will be my first year in first grade.  I am fluent in Spanish, French and English.

González y estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de primer grado de su hijo. ¡Juntos nos embarcaremos en este viaje de aprendizaje y diversión! Soy nativo de Houston y me gradué de la Universidad de Houston con una licenciatura en Arquitectura. También me gradué de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Houston con el Programa de Certificación Alternativa. He estado enseñando durante 19 años, principalmente en 3º y 4º grado. Este será mi primer año en primer grado. Hablo español, francés e inglés con fluidez.
