I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Houston and my Masters in History from Texas Southern University. This will be my 8th year as a teacher, 5th teaching AP US History, and my 1st teaching AP World. I have a true passion for teaching and learning about history. Helping students progress and develop their skills on their way to career and college readiness is also a passion of mine. The past two years I rated document based essays and short answer questions for the APUSH exam. These experiences, I feel will enable me to help more students find success. Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing a student meet their end-of-course requirements or earn college credit through high-stakes testing!
