Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Frank

I am so excited to be serving as the Skills for Living and Learning [SLL] teacher for Memorial Elementary. I received my degree in interdisciplinary studies from Texas A&M with a concentration in special education. After graduation I was accepted into the Peace Corps with the assignment to teach at a school for the deaf; However, my plans were disrupted by the global pandemic and fate brought me back home to Houston. When I learned that Memorial was looking for a teacher to start their new SLL program I knew it was the challenge I craved and happily joined the team last year. Meeting the diverse needs of students ranging from first all the way through fifth grade is a passion of mine because I get to witness the joys and challenges of almost every elementary grade at once. I strive to help my students grow to be their best self academically, socially, and emotionally both in our classroom and out. When I am not at school you can find me playing with my Staffordshire Bull-Terrier named Raymond, trying new foods from different cultures or planning my next trip abroad.
