• Dear Parents and Students,

    Math Club will be held live this year.  Students from grades 3 to 8 are welcome to compete in our annual qualifying test on the dates below.  

    Elementary on Thursday, October 6, 2022  TIME: 3:30-4:30 PM

    Middle School on Friday, October 7, 2022  TIME: 3:30-4:30 PM

    Expectations for members of the Club:

    1. Middle school contests will include Math Olympiad (MOEMS), AMC8, and MathCounts. Mandatory participation.
    2. Elementary School Contests include MOEMS(grades 4 & 5)  Mandatory participation.
    3. Other non-mandatory contests: We (THRMC) are registered for Mathleague, or a contest in which students can participate monthly, but applications for the contest must be made individually by parents.  Please see their website for contest dates. This contest is open to all grades and non-Club members as well.  MathKangaroo- open to all grades and non-members. Please see their website for registration. Their annual contest is around mid-March.  

     

    We recommend our members participate in as many contests as they can to increase their experience in competitive math.  Please send any questions to throgersmathclub@gmail.com
