LaSyndria F. Gnagbe earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Southern University. She attended graduate studies at Rice University for Mathematics and earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University – College Station. Ms. Gnagbe is a product of the Houston Independent School District, graduating from the High School for Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice.  

Ms. Gnagbe joined HISD in 2015, bringing 3 years of experience with Special Education and ESL instruction from Aldine ISD. She is a transformational leader who believes in empowering teachers and developing both instructional and leadership skills, to promote creative, collaborative, inclusive, student-led learning environments. She believes in supporting students in the development of self-love and intrinsic motivation to help them achieve their goals. 

Her most recent leadership role as the Effective Practices Specialist gave her the opportunity to make significant contributions to the 3^rd - 5^th grade instructional program at Burrus Elementary.  

Passionate about joining the Radiant Roadrunner community, her work as a servant leader, to achieve cross-curricular equity for all students, and educational innovation with teachers, no task is impossible. “Inspiration and dedication are indispensable on the journey to success.”
