About Me

  • Hello!

I am Mr. Cody Meng, and I teach AP Physics I, II, and Magnet Physics here at DeBakey. I graduated in 2021 from Rice University with a B.S. in Astrophysics and Computational Physics. I am currently attending Rice as a Master's student obtaining an M.A. in Teaching. During my undergraduate career, I conducted Astrophysics research with Rice and Los Alamos National Laboratory. I have two cats, enjoy cooking and food science, and love playing video games.

  • AP Physics I Summer Assignment

    • Don't worry if you don't know how to do everything, and feel free to leave those answers blank. The language is unnecessarily inflammatory, and when it tells you "this is easy and you should already know how to do this," it's lying! You should know Scientific Notation, Geometry, Algebraic Manipulation, simpler Unit Conversions, and some of the trigonometry, but we will reintroduce everything else at some point in class.
    • You can ignore units in the Algebra sections (Part 5)

    AP Physics II Summer Assignment

As of midnight on the night of Monday 8/22, the solutions are on Canvas.
