    The mission of Strategic Partnerships is to identify, develop, engage, and integrate external resources to support schools, students, and their families to increase student achievement. Strategic Partnerships is comprised of five departments that work together to accomplish this mission. Each department plays an important role in cultivating, soliciting, and evaluating new and existing partnerships and increasing external resources that benefit the students in the Houston Independent School District.
     
    Strategic Partnerships is the link between schools, students, parents, teachers, principals, school administrators, and families. Each is connected by funding, activities, and concerns, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, professional organizations, businesses, civic, associations, chambers of commerce, societies, and volunteers.
