Tetyana Yeromenko, Principal
Tetyana Yeromenko has been selected as the new principal of Park Place Elementary School.
Tetyana Yeromenko began her teaching career as an English teacher in urban public schools in Eastern Ukraine. Throughout 30 years in education, she taught at all school levels and in higher education, including language immersion, self-contained classroom, developmental and dual credit college courses. Ms. Yeromenko served as an elementary school principal in the Houston area (Anahuac ISD) prior to joining the Leadership Development team at Houston ISD in 2014. She is a first-generation immigrant, speaks 4 languages, and is very passionate about literacy, second language acquisition, and high-quality, inclusive public education. In her most recent role as executive director, Ms. Yeromenko developed and supported current and aspiring campus leaders in Houston ISD through coaching and building their capacity and self-efficacy.
Ms. Yeromenko is honored and enthusiastic to join the Park Place Elementary team as principal and serve the school community rich in traditions and family engagement.
