English Language Arts and ESL, 8th Grade Dual Language Academy

Mr. Alt has a broad range of interests, especially reading. He firmly believes that his students can learn just about anything, provided they have an open, critical mind and work hard. Mr. Alt considers being bilingual an excellent asset to have and something his students are lucky to pursue in the Dual Language Academy.

Mr. Alt is a graduate of the University of Houston, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature. He serves as the 8th Grade Dual Language Academy Cluster Leader as well as the 8th Grade Level ELA Lead Teacher. This is his ninth year at Burbank Middle School.
