Nicole Haskins joined Reagan Mading Elementary School in 2014, following three years of service as assistant principal at Marshall Middle School in the Houston Independent School District. Mrs. Haskins brings 24 years of experience to Mading. Her career began in HISD where she served as an elementary teacher and high school Title One Coordinator. Mrs. Haskins also served in Sacramento, California where she was the district coordinator for behavior and credit recovery.
Mrs. Haskins grew up in Houston and attended school in the Houston Independent School District, graduating from Jack Yates High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Stillman College in Elementary Education. Mrs. Haskins earned her master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas Southern University and is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program at Texas Southern University.
Mrs. Haskins believes that students will achieve with powerful and impactful lessons. Mrs. Haskins strives to ensure that collaboration between parents, faculty, staff and the community is on-going and transparent so that the focus of each and every school day is “teaching and learning.”
