• The purpose of the Jones High School Parent Advisory Council is to serve in an advisory capacity to the principal as it relates to parental involvement, strategies and programs. It also serves as the forum through which fundraising efforts and special events are developed and implemented.
    The PAC goals are:
    To represent the views of parents/guardians in matters of secondary education in Jones;
    To encourage a high degree of communication between parents/guardians and the faculty and administration;
    To schedule informational programs with the school.
    The PAC usually meets during the school year on the fourth Thursday of every other month in the evening usually around 6:30pm, so all parents have an opportunity to attend. The organization is administered by an executive committee, but all of its meetings are open and are a good place to bring an issue for discussion or a suggestion for an improvement. The participation and attendance of all parents/guardians at regular meetings as well as the various forums sponsored by the organization are highly encouraged.
