- To graduate with a Distinguished High School Program Diploma, students must earn 26 credits and meet a minimum requirement on five state-mandated End of Course exams (English 1, Algebra 1, English 2, Biology, & US History).
- To meet the Distinguished High School Graduation Requirements, all students are required to earn:
- 4 credits in English
- 4 credits in Math (Including Algebra 2)
- 4 credits in Social Studies
- 4 credits in Science
- 2 credits in Language Other Than English (LOTE)
- 1 credit in Fine Arts
- 1 credit in Physical Education
- 0.5 credit in Health (District Requirement)
- 5.5 credits in electives (aligned with endorsement)
- 26 credits total

- Performance Acknowledgments note outstanding achievement in specific areas. These distinctions will be included in your high school transcript and better position you for successful entry into college and/or the workforce. Performance Acknowledgments Areas consist of:
- Dual Credit courses
- bilingualism and biliteracy
- PSAT, ACT ASPIRE®, SAT, or ACT
- Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exams
- State-, nationally- or internationally-recognized business or industry certification or license
- College, Career & Military Readiness CCMR:
- College Ready
- Meet criteria of 3 on AP or 4 on IB examinations
- Meet TSI criteria (SAT/ACT/TSIA/College Prep course) in reading and mathematics
- Complete a course for dual credit (9 hours or more in any subject or 3 hours or more in ELAR/mathematics)
- Earn an associate’s degree
- Complete an OnRamps course in any subject and earn college credit
- Career Ready
- Earn an industry-based certification
- CTE coherent sequence coursework completion and credit aligned with
- approved industry-based certifications (one-half point credit)
- Graduate with completed IEP and workforce readiness
- Earn a Level I or Level II certificate
- Graduate under an advanced degree plan and be identified as a
current special education student
- Military Ready
- Enlist in the United States Armed Forces
