    Welcome to Carnegie Vanguard High School's
    PRISM CLUB ! ! !
     
     
     
    We are a student-led organization that serves both our campus and our community to ensure that each and every student is able to have a safe and supportive learning environment.
     
     
     
     
    Our GSA is dedicated to: 
     

    1. creating a safe and positive environment for all students so that they may be free to express themselves.

    2. building a network of student and faculty support to address any issues that our students might be struggling with, like gender identity and sexual orientation.

    3. educating the school community about homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of social prejudice and oppression.

    4. empowering students to fight discrimination, harassment, and violence that is targeted against LGBT students in schools.

     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Our club meets in Mr. Parker's room to educate and advocate for all LGBTQ+ issues within the CVHS community and beyond.  Our club also participates in notable local and national events, such as:
