     About Mr. Morris
I grew up in Middle Tennessee. I began playing the trombone in 6th grade, in Ripley, TN. I've been a student of music for 20 years!  In 1998, I moved to Lawrenceburg, TN so my father could accept a better paying job. I joined the band and marching in the Lawrence County High School "Big Gold Machine," for all 4 years that I attended the school. Upon graduation, I was accepted into Austin Peay State University on a Music Scholarship for trombone. I graduated in 2009. In 2012 I accepted the position of Assistant Band Director at Sharpstown International School and have stayed here ever since. Recently, I have added two new members to my family! I have two growing and loving boys. My wife is Stephanie Morris and is from Alabama.
Stephie is a HUGE Auburn Fan
    About Sharpstown International Ambassador Band
S.I.A.B began as the Sharpstown Middle School Band, back before the merge of the Middle School and International School at Sharpstown. In 2009, Mr. Kelly Brunson became part of the faculty at S.I.S. and the band only had 23 members. Through much hard work, dedication, and perseverance, the band quickly grew from 23 to 100 within a year. At that time, Mr. Brunson called Mr. Morris to come assist, in 2012. Mr. Brunson and Mr. Morris grew the program to over 150 within another two year's time. The Band Program is still going strong at S.I.S. under the new leadership of Mr. Troy Eads.
