Mr. Mario Martinez, Marshall Grandparent was recently received an honor from Houston’s Mayor, Anise Parker, as the 2013 Hispanic Heritage Community Activist Award Winner.  Mr. Martinez is a native Houstonian who grew up in the Near Northside neighborhood where he still lives and is actively making a difference in his community. He strives to provide the best education for all students in the community. He understands that educating children in safe and effective schools benefits the community at large. His enthusiasm and persistence is motivating; for not only teachers and staff of Marshall but for other parents. He serves as a leader to them and has helped us bridge many gaps in communication. We can always count on Mr. Martinez.

We are Catamount Proud for the work and leadership of Mr. Mario Martinez! RAWWWWW!
